Bangkok Haul - Part Deux

Shopping in airports is the best! Well, not in our airports. Seriously, we have the most kawawa airports. But really, aside from the fact that everything is tax-free, they have travel exclusive stuff -- stuff you'll only find in airports! Well, as I've said, NOT in our airports...

I always make sure to check out travel exclusives and the makeup sets and palettes like the ones you see in the magazines in the planes. I feel like those sets will give the most out of your money since you get a lot shades (in the case of an eyeshadow palette) in one. Oh, and I also make sure we have lots of time to spare and not miss our flight back home!!! I can still remember our little marathon in Hong Kong International Airport, running (with my 4-year-old then) to catch our flight back home. Oh goodness... *shivers*

Anyway, here are the stuff I got at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport:

Bangkok Haul - Part 1

I went on a long-overdue shopping trip to Bangkok with the husband last September 2010 (I've been meaning to write about for months now) and did a pretty major makeup haul! Shopping for clothes in Bangkok wasn't as thrilling as it has been for the past couple of years. I mostly saw poorly made clothes from Korea and it seemed like everything is more expensive now. But I was still able to score great bargains, nevertheless! Ako pa?! Hahaha. Oh, and the food is just amaaaaaaazing!!! :)

Anyhoo, back to makeup, here are the stuff I got in Bangkok:

T-H-E Naked Palette

I've had this for a couple of months now and this was one of the
many
few things that I MUST get my hands on. After asking favors from friends, one of them was lucky enough to snag this treasure during her trip in the US. Finding it wasn't so easy. She went to a couple of Sephora stores before she was able to chance upon a newly delivered batch of Urban Decay's Naked Palette and bought 3 sets! One for me, one for herself & another for her cousin. She tried to get more to sell but when she went to the store again, they were out of stock. Surprise, surprise! Thank you to my amazing friend for the effort! You made one makeup crazy gal so giddily happy!
