Celeteque with SPF???

Celeteque has a new sister!!! It's great that this moisturizer is now available with sun protection. Although SPF 15 isn't really enough as it is only the minimum in sunscreen protection (SPF 30 or higher is the recommended level), it is better than its predecessor which didn't have any at all. As majority of people I've done makeup on, who claimed having oily skin, I find Celeteque a good moisturizer to use by most. And since our weather does not really permit us to wear heavy moisturizers (unless you have really dry skin) Celeteque is lightweight since it's water-based, plus it is also non-comedogenic, hypo-allergenic and fragrance-free - one less possible irritant to worry about.

Since the sun protection can be better, use a primer or foundation with higher SPF.

Do you use a moisturizer with SPF? Share what it is here! :)

Daily Finds: Pretty Accessories

I just love SM!!! Saw this necklace from a shoot I did last week and I was going to buy it from the stylist but I forgot to get it. Buying from pullouts are the best, I tell you! Items are carefully chosen and they're fashionista-approved! Plus, you save yourself a trip to the mall especially if it's someplace you rarely go to. So since I was already in SM last Tuesday, doing my grocery, I went looking for MY necklace. I am on a strict shopping diet but this is just too pretty AND CHEAP to pass up. *and it was the last piece on display!!!*

What Women Want (WWW) Necklace - Php349.75

Then I also found this gorgeous set of bangles! My fave is the shiny black one with the gold encrusted detail.

Bling Bling Accessories - Php349.75

The bangles are a great deal - 7 pcs for only Php349.75! That's about 50 bucks each! :)

I guess what they say is true... It's all at SM!!!

Arts and Crafts Valentine

Belated happy hearts day!!!

Just wanted to share with you the crafty stuff I made for V Day...

For my daughter's teachers...
  • Kit-Kat bars wrapped with valentine-themed paper
  • Satin ribbon hand-stamped with "For You", wrapped around the wrapper
  • Hand-stamped stick figure of a little girl, with my daughter's name handwritten
*****

For my pretty girls...
  • Heart-shaped chocolate lollipops with a handmade butterfly candy holder
  • Embellished with puffy stickers
*****
For my husband...
  • Vintage-finish card, embossed using Cuttlebug Script Texture embossing folder
  • Accented with a red heart die cut from Cuttlebug Combo Love Language
  • Vintage treatment done using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad in Tea Dye
Isn't the embossed design just gorgeous? Cuttlebug's Script Texture embossing folder is my favorite so far! And I have quite a lot! I can't believe I haven't been using my arts & crafts stash that much...

Anyway, hope you had a lovely V day!!!
